1) In mongo command line: (let say, set administrator) > use admin; > db.addUser('admin','123456'); 2) Shutdown Server and exit > db.shutdownServer(); > exit 3) Restart Mongod with --auth $ sudo ./mongodb/bin/mongod --auth --dbpath /mnt/db/ 4) Run mongo again in 2 ways: i) run mongo first then login. $ ./mongodb/bin/mongo localhost:27017 > use admin > db.auth('admin','123456'); ii) run & login to mongo in command line. $ ./mongodb/bin/mongo localhost:27017/admin -u admin-p 123456 * The username & password will work the same for mongodump and mongoexport.
Verify the ownership and permissions on systemtap
$ ls -al /usr/local/share/systemtap/ drwxr-xr-x 3 root wheel 102 Oct 23 18:06 . drwxrwxr-x 15 root wheel 510 Oct 24 20:24 .. drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 68 Oct 24 20:17 tapset
then add yourself to the owner group (in this case wheel)
sudo dscl . append /Groups/wheel GroupMembership <username>
then change the permissions on tapset to allow group edits
sudo chmod -R 775 /usr/local/share/systemtap/tapset/
Printers are notoriously difficult to install and operate, especially on non-PCs. It’s difficult to fathom why there needs to be so much complexity in an operation that’s mostly standard across devices.
I recently had to print something, and needed to install the drivers for my printer on my Macbook Air. The printer’s about five years old, and there aren’t official OS X drivers for the model online. But you can still make it work!
Here’s what I had to do:
Printers & Scannersdialog.
INTERNAL ERROR - FALSE. So I tried ML-2240, which worked. If your model is different, you just have to try some and see which works.
brew install hbase
brew install hadoop
brew install zookeeper
